Mötley Crüe has literally just released their video for the new single titled ‘Dogs Of War’, also dropping today, via Big Machine Label Group. Yeah, I know, this isn’t indie or unsigned. Well, we put up what we’re asked. No matter what ‘level’, genre, or whatever. Having said that, Mötley Crüe has consistently been one of those bands that reinvent and reinterpret their music with every outing.

As much as I miss Mick Mars from the fold, any unit is more than the sum of it’s parts. With ‘Dogs Of War’, we get the official introduction release of John 5 to this evolution of revolution that is the Crüe. And, with that, I will be the first to say that, as I stated earlier, that constant reinvention of their music and evolution of their sound is something you can’t help but admire and respect. And, while sometimes it hits or misses, their is that original outside of the box mentality that fuels the creative train and manages to get to the next station on time.

With ‘Dogs Of War’, we get a mix of John 5 guitar infusion that heavies up the sound while retaining that hook-laden power-rock-pop mentality that is Mötley. Meant for the stadium and air guitar virtuosos everywhere.
