Paul Dillon from Portumna, Co. Galway in Ireland is solo artist named pMad. Following a path of introspection with a unique view of the world & what we are doing to ourselves and the planet!

‘Down’ hopes to empower listeners to break the cycle of suffering and reclaim their self-esteem and personal identity.

Paul has been a member of bands such as The Suicidal Dufflecoats, Starve The Barber to The Greeting & now pMad, records ‘Sisters’ in the middle of a pandemic and it is created in Ireland (self-released on Zedakube Records), in collaboration with Germany (Protonaut Studio) & Mexico (Elith Mastering Labs) without ever being in the same room together.

In his latest single, “Down,” pMad delves into the impact abusive relationships can have on one’s identity and self-esteem.

The lyrics of the track paint a powerful picture of the emotional turmoil that arises when one’s sense of safety and self-worth is threatened by others. It reminds us that until we confront these issues and take action to protect ourselves, the cycle of suffering will persist.

But by recognizing the preciousness of life and choosing to break free from this cycle, we can stop it beginning again each day!
