1. Strength In Numbers River Knight 3:45

It all began in 2017. Darren Knight was writing songs as a form of therapy after the tragic passing of his wife and Stone River was by his side to support him. The guys were jamming and writing frequently. and liking what was coming out so they decided themselves a band and River Knight was born. Things were going well and in early 2019 the fellas decided to make River Knight official and started playing live shows. The lads wanted to release the first song they wrote, so they got together with Greyum May (Keeper’s Brew) at Mutant Labs Studio in Southampton in late 2018 and recorded Heaven’s Door which is available through Bandcamp. As a tribute to Steph all proceeds from that release are going to charity.

Throughout 2018/2019 momentum was growing, they were continually writing new songs and had regular gigs in London, Portsmouth and Southampton with a view to moving further afield, but then Covid happened! Rather than sit back and wait they recorded their debut album “Grow” remotely throughout lockdown during the entirety of 2020, and when the restrictions were over they got together in their custom built studio and invited a few friends to play on a couple of tracks to celebrate. The end result “Grow” is an album of songs that celebrate the power of positivity, full of character and meaning.
