Solitary Bee have today released their new video for the latest single titled ‘Autumn Recruits’. Angelically decadent and sonically welcoming, their is a beautiful way that the song is constructed. Almost done to a prog rock style. But, the happiness of the music and the pop sensibilities shine through to make the song as accessible as it is unique.

Fitting released ahead of summer, Solitary Bee make a poptastically sweet song for the season and an anthem for the everyone.

About ‘Autumn Recruits’

All the leaves on the trees on vacation. Till the sweet summer song sings ’em back. Naked branches in deep conversation. ‘Bout the lives fully clothed they once had. But did they ever say goodbye? When they left a hole in the sky. In their golden space suits. How short grow these days without warning. How slow goes the time without you. As the city it shivers still yawning. And the cold seems to stick just like glue. I’m hoping they all leaned to fly. Before the jump from way up high.

I’m hoping they all leaned to fly. Before the jump from way up high. All the autumn recruits. In the open space. All the autumn recruits. In their golden space suits.

About Solitary Bee

“Solitary Bee was conceived after Jim, Mikey and myself, as ‘It’s Karma It’s Cool,’ decided we wanted to do something fresh, new, and slightly more left-field after we released ‘Thrift Store Troubadours’ in June 2023. A writing session soon after bore the fruit of what would become the lead single ‘Love Wakes Up’. Being huge fans of Death Cab for Cutie, this is what we’re calling our ‘The Postal Service’, and we’re as pleased with this and have put as much time, love and attention into it as we have any Karma release.”
