Originally from Peoria, IL, Nino Polizzi began writing music during his time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Drawing mostly from his personal experiences, his songs are meant to tell stories dealing with love, life, and loss. While his main instrument is the guitar, he also plays the banjo, bass guitar, and mandolin.
Nino released his first EP, “Into the Fields” in late 2014 followed by his first full length release, “Out of the Sea” in early 2015. His new EP “When The River Thaws” was released in late 2015 to positive critical reviews.
