Stardusk Encounter came into fruition after keyboardist Robbie Rob, drummer John John, and guitarist Rob Paz’s previous band, Vanarays, disbanded. When the three of them decided to move on with a new project, they reached out to a longtime friend and fellow musician, Joel, who joined as the bassist. The lineup was completed in 2015 and in early 2016 they dubbed the group Stardusk Encounter.
The band went on to perform live and write songs together releasing a self -titled, debut album in 2017, followed by another titled, #perceptionmanagement in 2018.
