I was born in Sacramento, CA in 1982. I started playing music when I was 14 in 1996. I asked my mom to buy me an electric guitar after I saw the Nirvana “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video. I’ve always been inspired by music from the 90s era since that is the music I was first exposed to as a teen. My favorite artists have always been Chris Cornell, Radiohead, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
I write songs in many different ways, sometimes I even dream them. My wife Renata, who is from Brazil is my biggest supporter and helps me in every step of my artistry. She is my true muse. My father is my tie to Brazil, he was born there in 1945. After my wedding, he committed suicide, so I have had a different outlook on things since then. Guilt can weigh down your soul so I choose to live my life in the moment and not in the past.
My dreams are one day to be able to play theaters to 500-1000 people a night who just want to sing my lyrics back to me. My hopes are that my music can bring joy and comfort to others lives even if it’s just for a moment.
