The Shaker Heights write, record and produce original electronic indie rock music. The band is currently studio based and is working on a second full length album.
New single ‘Brunski’ will be released digitally on 18 January 2016 with an accompanying music video shot by Famous Banana pictures and a b-side ‘Sick and Weird’.
‘Body’ was the first single to be released from the band’s recent studio work in summer 2015.
The Shaker Heights were originally formed back in 2003 by Vincent Coole, Andrew Brown, and Emily Coole. Various drummers have played for the Shakers, most recently Richard Dorrell who joined in 2010.
In 2007 The Shaker Heights signed with Face Value Records and released the debut ‘Magna Doors’ album. Since then the band has self-released the ‘Sitting in the Fire’ single in 2011 and the 4 track ‘Little White Doll’ EP in 2012.
