Clouds in a Headlock have dropped their new video for the music collection titled ‘Asmattic Volume 2’. This is what I love about experimentation on this level; music as a concept. Almost as a pure feeling documented into an online forum. Taking that into account, just press play and let that music engulf you into a state of lucid reflection. Let that cinematic feeling place you into a lush trance of introspection and inspiration.
Part of me feels that this video isn’t long enough, even though it spans over a half an hour, there is this personality about it that gives it that certain something that stamps itself into your memory of musical collective. Bravo!

About Clouds in a Headlock
Recorded in an off-grid forest cabin in Hakone, Japan on 4-track cassette, this is the second instalment of ASMATTIC by Clouds in a Headlock.
The soundscape by Dirty Art Club and Madwreck is anchored in a rugged yet ethereal aesthetic, weaving tapestries for the 3 MCs Lovecraft, Èph, and Doctor Outer to paint vivid abstract pictures on.
Lyrically the Clouds are somewhere between early Souls of Mischief, Company Flow, and the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud.
ASMATTIC Vol. 2 is gritty psychedelic loops and ninja-level wordplay that have been handed down through age-old craftsmanship traditions – by and for the rhyme nerds, beat smiths, and sorceresses and sorcerers of all cultures and creeds.
