Hard Rock International will host two major global music festivals in 2015, as part of the company’s continued commitment to supporting the music industry in the United States and abroad. The international entertainment brand today announced that it is hosting the first-ever Hard Rock Rising Barcelona Music Festival in Spain on July 24 – 25, 2015. This announcement comes after the February announcement of Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach on March 26, 2015, hosted in partnership with Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla.

“Live music has been at the heart of the Hard Rock brand since its inception, and continues to be a focal point of our brand expansion efforts in 2015,” said John Galloway, Senior Vice President and CMO for Hard Rock International. “These festivals provide us with an opportunity to showcase up-and-coming artists, while continuing to further our partnerships with iconic artists in the U.S. and abroad.”

Hard Rock’s music activation began in London with Hard Rock Calling in 2006. Over the festival’s eight year history Hard Rock Calling grew to be one of London’s most celebrated music events, welcoming iconic performers and becoming a stage for moments of music history.

Hard Rock Rising Barcelona continues to be a platform to share the brand’s commitment to music with thousands of festival-goers from across Spain. The festival features 16 hours of live music across two full days and an unforgettable site which embraces the magic of Barcelona’s beach-front venue.

Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach will be the brand’s first large-scale festival activation in the United States and is part of the city’s centennial celebration. The free all-day oceanfront music festival, located on the sand at Eighth Street and Ocean Drive, will feature some of the most beloved and acclaimed performers in the world, touting headliners whose work has contributed to Miami Beach’s cultural tapestry.

Committed to supporting music and emerging artists around the globe, Hard Rock International hosted more than 28,000 live music events worldwide in 2014. The brand continues its dedication to support of up-and-coming artists in 2015 with Hard Rock Rising concert events in the United States and Europe, providing a forum for music icons and today’s hottest new talent to connect with music fans around the world.
