Talented singer\songwriter, Patrick McCallion, is looking to raise £2000 ($3020.59) via a ‘Kickstarter Campaign’ to fund his next EP. The new EP (by Patrick’s Band, Patrick McCallion’s Small Words) is to be produced by renowned producer David M Allen. David has worked as a producer, engineer and mixer with artists such as The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, Depeche Mode, The Human League and Neneh Cherry.

Following Patrick’s last single, the critically acclaimed Murky Waters, and some impressive live shows including support slots for Primal Scream, The Fratellis, Razorlight and the Charlatans, Patrick felt the need to take his recording to the next level. He set about trying to find an experienced producer with a track record of success to work with. After meeting with David M Allen, Patrick was delighted when the studio genius said he would like to work with Him.

In today’s music climate, it is increasingly hard to get projects funded by record labels so Patrick has decided to use the ‘Kickstarter’ crowd funding platform to fund the project. Donors will receive a variety of desirable rewards depending on the size of their donation.

“Kick Starter has funded many successful creative projects and it seems like a great way to fund the next stage of my career” – Patrick McCallion.
