Patrick McCallion does a complete 180° departure from his last single ‘Voices’ with his new single ‘D.O.G.’. The song starts off fair enough, with a strumming acoustic with a subtle chord progression which suddenly kicks into an awesome sonically screaming electric guitar that sings a harsh melody that takes you to the chorus. Patrick harshly combines a pseudo party like anthem with a slightly fierce aesthetic for a sweetly packaged audio symphony for the masses.

‘D.O.G.’ is out today!

About Patrick McCallion
“A socially charged musical force”, Patrick McCallion is one of the most exciting singer-songwriters to come out of West Yorkshire in some time. Taking inspiration from acts as diverse as Nothing But Thieves, Muse and Bruce Springsteen, Patrick has created a distinctive sound, crafting lyrics that transition from socially aware protest songs to emotionally intriguing acoustic numbers. With his new single “D.O.G” out on AWAL February 16th, a European tour in March and an EP on the way in April with production credits from David M. Allen (The Cure, Sisters Of Mercy, Depeche Mode) it’s going to be a busy year for the Yorkshire writer.
