Phantoms have today released the deluxe edition of their latest album titled ‘This Can’t Be Everything’. Indie mixed with club and sprinkled with innovation, we now have two discs of no filler ‘groovetastical’ eargasms; each with their own signature and every single track never letting up.

About ‘This Can’t Be Everything’ (Deluxe Edition)

Indie-dance duo Phantoms celebrates the release of the Deluxe Edition of their 2022 album ‘This Can’t Be Everything’, out on February 17th via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective imprint. The Deluxe Edition of their sophomore album comes as a 2-disc release, with the second disc boasting a string of new music and fresh remixes of the album’s original tracks from top names in the space.

Preceding the Deluxe Album’s release, Phantoms teased the sounds sure to be featured with the dynamic, funk-fueled production “The Way You Groove”, as well as a driving remix of top album single “Firepit” ft. Big Wild by Dillistone. Other remixes that grace the second disc include contributions from Leo Islo, who remixed “Lay It All On Me”, Third Culture giving their take on “No Reason” as well as Fort Romeau’s reimagining of “Firepit” and Covex delivering a rendition of “Do You Want My Love. Another new original track “Crash My Car” is featured on the album, as well as an Alt Version of “Only You”, and a Deluxe Exclusive, extended cut of “Lay It All On Me”.

Comprised of Los Angeles based Kyle Kalplan and Vinnie Pergola, Phantoms is a live-electronic act that artfully blurs the lines between house and indie-dance music. Incorporating distinctive synth and drum patterns, the duo have become synonymous with their genre of alternative electronica.

Fresh off of a 6-Week live headlining tour, the duo debuted the new album at 2022’s Life Is Beautiful. With festival performances already on the books for this year, Phantoms is slated to play Okeechobee Music Festival in Florida, and CRSSD’s Spring edition in San Diego. Preceding the release of ‘This Can’t Be Everything’, the Phantoms duo took a fresh new approach to their music following a serious period of persona and professional growth. Seeing striking success upon its original release in 2022, ‘This Can’t Be Everything’ saw tastemaker support from the likes of Billboard, Rolling Stone, Dancing Astronaut, This Song Is Sick, CULTR and more.

Phantoms, comprised of Los Angeles based Kyle Kaplan & Vinnie Pergola, are a live electronic act that does exactly that. Often tough to box in…..their electronic style is best described as blurring the lines of house & indie-dance. Incorporating distinctive synth and drum patterns, the duo have become synonymous with their genre of alternative electronica.

2019 saw the release of the duo’s 7-track “Disconnect” EP, which included dance chart topping single “Say It” and club focused instrumental “Designs For You”, which saw worldwide DJ support from the likes of Pete Tong, Diplo, Duke Dumont, Jai Wolf, Martin Garrix and many more. The same year also saw the duo hit the road with a live sold out North American headline tour that included festival stops at Ultra Miami, Life Is Beautiful, EDC Mexico, EDC Japan, Made In America, Okeechobee, Voodoo Fest and many more.

Despite a pandemic hit 2020/21 the duo continued creating, releasing their 5-track “Moonlight” EP in October, which featured their cover of Aaliyah classic “One In A Million” and electro/pop crossover hits “Moonlight” & “Want To Know”, in addition to official remixes for the likes of Tiesto, Jai Wolf, Crooked Colours and more, highlighting the demand from their peers for the Phantoms touch.

Applauded by NPR, Billboard, Dancing Astronaut and many others, it’s clear the duo have cemented themselves as one of electronic music’s hottest live acts.
