Seattle’s rapidly rising country music star Jessica Lynne is headed back to her original roots with a concert set for February 12 at Kvarterhuset in Copenhagen.

“I am so excited to return to my home country and be able to represent country music as well as the city of Seattle,” she said. “My life is truly coming full circle.”

Lynne left Denmark for Seattle five years ago with a dream to become a country music star. Instantly, fans all over the Northwest loved her country twang and songs from the heart. Just last year, she released a new song under the new music label London Tone Music, connected to the legendary London Bridge Studios. Her song “Calling Me Home,” was not only a homage to Seattle, but also foreshadowed a dramatic connection to her home country of Denmark.

“When I saw how my old home in Denmark reacted to this new song ‘Calling Me Home’ I realized I had two great homes – Seattle and Denmark” Lynne said. “That’s when I made up my mind that I wanted to share my passion for country music with the people of Denmark as well.”

The concert will take place on February 12 at Kvarterhuset in Copenhagen. Accompanying her at the concert will be Spellemannspris winning saxophonist Paul Sawtelle and keyboardist Raymond Hayden. It will also involve local guest artists like Karen Sangvin and others.
