Fresh off the back of a recent UK tour, the band continue to rise, riding a fresh wave of guitar-driven yet still melodic Rock-Pop. Blending infectious melodic hooks and relatable lyricism with vibrant high octane soundscapes to create a euphoric yet thoughtful sonic experience that has already gained them an ever-growing, feverish following.

Produced by Alex Quinn (The Royston Club, Lottery Winners) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, Liam Gallagher), the new single ‘Always Always’ is a prime example of the band’s work – dripping with commercial appeal whilst retaining a musical intensity driven by distorted guitar lines, punching drums and plucky bass. Building the story telling verses, the track bursts out of it’s atmospheric pre-chorus into a infectiously catchy, yearning chorus as the lead vocals deliver a melancholic punch to reflect against the uplifting guitar driven backdrop.

Speaking about the single, the band share: “Always Always was written about a close friend from my hometown of Bournemouth who moved away. It’s that sense of nostalgia and longing for the moments that we would spend together, completely oblivious to what was happening around us. It highlights the gradual decline of our town, the friends that we lost and the memories that slowly faded away.”

Despite having only been together for a year, Small Talk’s sound is strikingly complete and has all the hallmarks of a band about to land on a national scale. With another UK headline tour and a bunch of new music on the horizon, the band have their sights set on a big end to the year.
