Italian garage-rock luminaires The Peawees have announced the release of their new album ‘One Ride’ on 6th September via Wild Honey Records.

Today, they share a first taster from the upcoming record. ‘The Wolf’ is a powerful song that meanders between garage, rock’n’roll and soul, all served with a modern touch. The groove, the hypnotic guitar riff and the dream-like lyrics drag you into a nocturnal setting, where you must decide whether to stay in a world that’s too tight for you or try your luck elsewhere.

Active for over 25 years, The Peawees have taken their Punk Rock roots and dosed them with R’n’B, Roots Rock, Soul and Garage influences while staying true to their rock’n’roll upbringings. The result is a unique sound that has taken them touring across the globe, where they have shared the stage and toured with the likes of The Sonics, The Fleshtones, The Dwarves and Radio Birdman.

The current lineup consists of founding frontman and songwriter Hervé Peroncini, ex-Nick Curran and The Lowlifes drummer and Texican transplant to Italy Tommy Gonzalez, Dario Persi (guitar, backing vocals) and Fabio Clemente (bass). Associated acts include Hervé’s guitar and songwriting work for Nikki Corvette and a recent Peawees collaboration with Mark Arm of Mudhoney.
