ShareTweet Having a love for music from an early age, songwriter Daniel Bellefeuille ended up relocating from Medicine Hat to Vancouver to study music at UBC. The multi-instrumentalist thrives as a pianist and currently tours as such. Performing live solo piano pieces for audiences in Canada is nothing new for Bellefeuille as his musical career has been moving forward since he began playing. Though the piano is a main instrument for the artist, he picked up a guitar at the age of 17 and formed his band The Similar Trends in high school. The band recorded a full-length album together and even performed live but Bellefeuille’s solo career would take shape soon after. “Sophie at the Window” is a testament to the songwriter’s jazz/folk guitar styles and shows a great deal of where he is at right now with his recorded material.
