Motor City rock still has its hard and honed edge that was pioneered by the likes of the MC5, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, and Iggy and The Stooges. Born of this powerful legacy are melodic hard rockers Dead in 5. This fierce five-piece performs with raw energy and hunger that can neither be bought nor faked. You either have “It” or you don’t. And Dead in 5 has “It” in spades.

There’s no corporate sheen marring Dead in 5’s honest, and downright dirty rock n’ roll. The band grinds out intense musical gems with as much super-charged muscle as a new Mustang rolling off the assembly line. Turn the key, and FLOOR IT! Dead in 5’s music is not just an assertion – it’s an absolute DECLARATION of the POWER of Rock and Roll!

Evoking a sonic mash up of Soundgarden, System of a Down, White Zombie and Led Zeppelin, the band’s dirty outlaw rock will make you raise your fists in salute to their musical juggernaut. It’s “Sons of Anarchy” meets “Fight Club” set in the post-apocalyptic “Mad Max” environment of Detroit Rock City.

Since their debut show inside one of Detroit’s most notorious biker clubhouses in 2013, Dead in 5 has become an in-demand live act headlining the Midwest’s top venues and festivals, in addition, to supporting slots for Anthrax, Five Finger Death Punch, Hell Yeah Godsmack, Sevendust, and Pop Evil.

Dead in 5 have released 4 discs including “Wreck Your World”(2013) which had 7 of its 11 tracks featured in the cult film “Pro-Wrestlers Vs. Zombies” (Troma Entertainment) starring WWE wrestling legends“Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Matt Hardy, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Kurt Angle and Shane “The Franchise” Douglas.

2015’s “Schizophrenic Razor Project,” produced and engineered by Chuck Alkazian (Soundgarden, Alter Bridge), garnered Dead in 5 further acclaims. When the band’s first 2 discs sold out, Dead in 5 released “Die Another Day” to meet fan demand (2018). The 17 song disc is a re-mastered “Best of” including songs from Dead in 5’s sonic beginnings.

Now with their newest release, the 7-song EP “Automatic Death Machine,” (produced by Nick Morris -credits include Metal Blades’ The Black Dahlia Murder), Dead in 5 is poised to kick down doors and penetrate ears with a heavy mosh pit inducing stew of hardcore, punk, rock, and metal.
