“The Universal Soundtrack-Changing the State of Rock!” This is the mantra of Los Angeles, CA female-fronted progressive rock band Evertheory. Singer Alicia Netti, Singer/Guitarist Sharon Prudencio, Percussionist Paris Ramirez and Bassist Tim Peterson make it a point to push the creative direction of the band forward with each new song. Each member of the band brings to the table a vast pool of inspiration and influences from rock, soul, folk, film scores, alternative classical music, video game music, world music and jazz, and all of this comes together to become a fusion of styles that is Progressive Rock. Singer Alicia brings a unique foundation of soaring vocals with a unique, melodic tonal range.
Songwriter Sharon Prudencio uses theatrical riffs and intricate chord arrangements to create driving and memorable images in the music. This is counter-balanced by the jazz-derived guitar-like strumming of Peterson on lead bass and driving drum beats of Ramirez. Since forming in 2008, they have continued to make new music.
