Formed in 2014, Gallivant began their career as a band performing only cover songs at local bars and clubs around Iowa. By 2015 the guys were playing full shows of original songs and kept it up for the next few years. In 2017 they released their debut EP ‘Leavenworth’.
Completely self-recorded and produced, the band soon went on to more live performances while they worked on a new set of songs. As songs came to fruition the album began to take on a life of its own and in 2019 Celestials was finally born. The album is a testament to where the band is at with their sound right now.
