ShareTweet http://jammerzine.com/uploads/2014/08/MissElm-Invisible_Lines.mp3 The vibrant Miss Elm are a cohesive Brisbane four-piece, where front-woman Erin Harrington’s intriguing voice amalgamates with a gluey rhythm section of James Peeters on drums, James Lord on bass guitar, and the sweet tones of Lucinda Bopf’s flute, melodica, and backing vocals. The energetic, upbeat act, who project fresh and addictive pop hooks, have become well-seasoned (think pepper and sugar) through hundreds of live performances, polishing their live act on the Australian East Coast touring circuit. They have played at Red Deer Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, and Teneriffe Festival, and shared lineups with Australian musical greats such as John Butler Trio, Clare Bowditch, and Ball Park Music—they’ve even jammed backstage with New Orleans jazz and funk guru Trombone Shorty.
