Montebello is a recently formed acoustic trio playing around Melbourne mainly as a cover band. The trio went into the studio recently to record their first EP of originals titled “Ballerina Vocale”. A CD has been released containing 4 original songs and one cover of the song Valerie. Singer Mary Ann Van Der Horst is an international award-winning singer and was a popular act on Australian X Factor where her audition of Halo has now over 7,600,000 views.
Guitarist Paul Grech has a Blues Rock background having played in many original and cover bands in Melbourne. Paolo Familari is the bass player and main songwriter. He has played in cover and original bands around Melbourne over a long period of time and created the band after having played with Paul and Mary Ann on different projects. The band has received some extremely positive feedback on their original music and can’t wait to tour.
