Not Your Heroes was created by brainchild Nicholas Shook in early 2016. Creating songs performed, recorded, and even mixed by himself, Shook see’s his songs through to fruition with his own efforts, along with some help from a friend for mixing, along with his wife Nicole who performs on some songs. Using a Macbook and Garageband when he first started and eventually graduating to Logic Pro X, the songwriter honed in of his craft and worked on the material until finally, the Not Your Heroes album was born. The record is a testament to where he is at with his sound right now.
