1. Keeping Waves Samh 2:52

Samh formed in the summer of 2012 with the release of a four-track EP that was recorded in a greenhouse. In 2013 Samh released the 7 track EP “Spin Us Still” From that EP Samh became a five-piece band that are still together now, releasing music and performing across the UK. In 2019 They signed to ‘Saving Grace’ releasing their extremely well received debut EP entitled glowinglow.

In Summer 2020 They are set to release their first full length album on Saving Grace entitled ‘Fat Of The Apple’.

Four of five of the band members are community musicians – dedicated to running workshops with disadvantaged communities, running small festivals, gigs etc for the benefit of the local music scene and peoples’ well-being in Huddersfield.

“Samh is a… fabulous band. Absolutely brilliant, We like what they’re doing, love what they’re sending to us.”
Alan Raw (BBC Radio)

They’ve been steadily building up a cult-like following .. receiving radio support from local stations & blogs to national outlets like BBC Leeds, BBC 6, BBC Introducing, Psychedelic Jukebox, Puls Radio (Germany) Radio X and independent station support from as far afield as Japan. Notable performances include – Edinburgh Fringe, Bath Folk, Long Division, Tramlines.

Organic lyrics with trance like repetitive rhythms and psychedelic overtones, Music written in dreams, on top of mountains and during out of body experiences. Samh’s music feels like a lucid dream and at times a super ejector seat out the reality you think you know.
