Deb Chesterman met drummer Patrick Riley and guitarist Sam Allyn through the theatre community in their hometown of Chicago back in 2016. Although the trio has been playing together since that time, it wasn’t until meeting bassist Patrick Foley that their sound started to come to fruition.
By early 2017 the lineup was complete and the band has been writing ever since. Honing in on their sound, touring the midwest, and recording new material as much as possible, Sugarpulp’s latest effort, Open Yr Mouth, is a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.
