Randall Mcgowan and Norman Collins have a lot of History playing music in The San Francisco Bay Area for five decades. In Napa, California at The Tuscay Eatery; The Swinging Chads performed three nights a week for five years. Music was always different with new guests adding their talents to an endless list of songs. Ken Ingels and Johnny Young joined up to record “With the Swinging Chads” on Russian River Records in 2014.
All new songs were written by Randall Mcgowan and Norman Collins.AVA Radio and The Akademia took notice of the music. Jango Radio and Local Northern California Radio stations began to place songs in heavy rotation. The Swinging Chads took a different road for the second collection of songs. Five recording studios and many session players brought the music alive like never before. A third CD is in the works for 2021.
