1. Drifting Away (Synthetic Capricorn Mix) Beauty in Chaos 4:53

As a continuation of the re-envisioning the chaos, Beauty in Chaos (the brainchild of Michael Ciravolo) gets a brilliant and original remix with a little help from Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) and Michael Anthony (Van Halen, Chickenfoot, Sammy Hagar, The  Circle). When you listen to this track in its new-found glory, you hear nothing from the pasts of any of the aforementioned artists. As much as I love the body of work these artists have, I find that extremely refreshing in that this is audible proof that true artists are continuingly growing and expanding. Instead, what you hear is a new and original piece of sonic bliss that captivates as it plays.

To see just how much music can be reborn and re-envisioned, you absolutely must listen to either album side by side. See what I mean HERE.

On June 21, ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’ will be released via LA-based label 33.3 Music Collective on deluxe CD and limited-edition heavy-weight colored vinyl. It will also be available digitally across online stores, including iTunes, and streaming platforms like Spotify. CDs and vinyl can be ordered from the Beauty in Chaos website HERE.

About ‘Drifting Away’
Ahead of the release of their new album ‘Beauty Re-Envisioned’, LA-based supergroup Beauty in Chaos is previewing the track ‘Drifting Away’ ft. Robin Zander (Synthetic Capricorn Mix). Remixed by Paul Wiley (Marilyn Manson) and Steven Alexander Ryan (The Black Queen).

This remix – one of the album’s bonus tracks – has been disassembled and eloquently reconstructed for the new album. In addition to lead vocals by Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), this track also features Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Ashton Nyte (The Awakening)and Marc Danzeisen (Riverdogs) on backing vocals.

Beauty in Chaos is the brainchild of guitarist Michael Ciravolo. Originally from New Orleans and now based in Los Angeles, Ciravolo has played guitar in Human Drama for the past 30 years, most recently on ‘Broken Songs for Broken People’ (2017). Perhaps best known as President of Schecter Guitar Research, he has also played live and recorded with Michael Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel since 1998.

“When Michael asked me to help create a song for an album he was working on I had no second thoughts. This man is a real class act. He and his wife Tish built these extraordinary guitar companies that have created a niche in a very competitive field, to say the least. He built my signature Dream Police guitar that was featured on The Tonight Show. When I told him I was giving instruments to my son and daughter’s school for lack of a music program he and Tish (Daisy Rock Guitars) presented them with 20 instruments,”
says Robin Zander

“We’ve had a great relationship and I was proud to be part of something I knew would be great… especially when I heard that Michael Anthony (bass player and my wife’s favorite singer in Van Halen) would also be performing on the record.”

Michael Anthony notes,

“It was an honor and a pleasure to sing some background vocals to Robin Zander’s lead on the song Drifting Away. I’ve always been a fan of Cheap Trick and Robin’s vocals.”

Earlier the band presented ‘Un-Natural Disaster’ ft. dUg Pinnick, Zakk Wylde, and Ice-T, which premiered in Rolling Stone. This was the first single from their soon-to-be-released album, which includes an extremely wide variety of remixes and alternate versions of many of the tracks that appear on Beauty in Chaos’ debut album ‘Finding Beauty in Chaos’. Both albums are produced by Ministry’s Grammy-nominated producer Michael Rozon at Ciravolo’s own SAINTinLA Studio.

The debut album ‘Finding Beauty in Chaos’ features numerous music luminaries, including Wayne Hussey (The Mission), Simon Gallup (The Cure), Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Pete Parada (The Offspring), dUg Pinnick (Kings X), ICE-T (Body Count), Michael Aston (Gene Loves Jezebel), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Dirk Doucette (Gene Loves Jezebel), Ashton Nyte (The Awakening), Pando (A Flock of Seagulls), Evi Vine, Betsy Martin (Caterwaul/Purr Machine), Marc Danzeisen (The Riverdogs), Kevin Kipnis (Purr Machine/ Kommunity FK), Rudy Matchinga (Red Scare), Johnny Indovina (Human Drama), and Tish Ciravolo (StunGun/ Daisy Rock Guitars).

About ‘Drifting Away’, Beauty In Chaos main-man Michael Ciravolo says,

“This song has what to me is the truly special element of BIC, putting artists together that on the surface might seem a tad strange. I think Paul and Steven did a great job on this remix, keeping Robin’s catchy vocal melodies and playing up Michael Anthony and Aston’s parts. Musically they injected a bit of Manson-inspired electronics along with a cool ‘Sgt Pepper-esque’ twist, taking it to a different place than the original version that appears on the debut ‘Finding Beauty in Chaos’ album.”
