1. Good Dreams Blueprint Blue 6:01

Blueprint Blue’s Elliot Hayward, Melissa Rigby and Huw Webb formed in 2013, united by a love of The Grateful Dead, Neil Young, and Jackson Browne. Their manifesto is simple; beautifully crafted melodies, heartfelt story telling and a classic authentic sound.

Whilst Blueprint Blue’s musical influences are rare against the backdrop of music scene to which they belong, they’re winning critical acclaim, an evergrowing fanbase and the respect of their peers; they have been championed by Tim Burgess of The Charlatans and signed to London label Luv Luv Luv, which is owned by Mairead Nash, one half of celebrated DJ duo Queens of Noize and manager of Florence and the Machine.

The band recorded their debut album live to tape under the guidance of James Hoare from Ultimate Painting at Green Lanes, London, leading Hoare to invite drummer Melissa Rigby (ex SCUM) to play on Ultimate Painting’s latest album as well as enthusing about Blueprint Blue when he was interviewed on BBC 6 Music recently.

2017 sees the band appearing at this year’s SXSW music festival in Texas as well as releasing a new single in spring, however the first new release of the year comes in the form of a video accompanying their song “Good Dreams”.

Blueprint Blue have launched a Pledge campaign to support their appearance at SXSW, full details are available HERE.

The band are aiming to raise enough money for flights, visas and accommodation. In return they’re offering exclusive merchandise such as the hand tie-dyed t-shirts seen in their video for ‘When There’s Sun’, together with signed copies of their next single.
