Drawing inspiration from the likes of Mac Demarco and Twin Peaks, ‘Vinnetrow Road’ creates a paradox between dreamy, romantic pop music and an arresting evocation of modern life. The new track lovingly channels the 1980’s, perfectly combining retro synths and Tears for Fears-esque guitar riffs.
Vinnetrow Road is a retro alternative pop song with a nod to the ’80s with Tears for Fears-esque guitar lines and swirling synths. Whilst the lyrics bemoan the stresses of 21st-century life and social media usage, Vinnetrow Road itself (the rural spot where the band practice) is a safe haven.
‘Vinnetrow Road’ is an 80’s-inspired alternative Pop song that lyrically bemoans stress caused by social media usage citing Vinnetrow Road, where we practice as a band, as a safe haven.
