1. In Time Norquay 4:38

Norquay has dropped his new single titled ‘In Time’. Norquay is one of those artists that can seamlessly blend old school guitar with modern song recording. There is such a cool combination of that tube Marshall sound mixed with synth, sexy, and soul in a dark and twisted track of commentary on the downturn of the society we are all faced with these days.

About Norquay

When the muse comes to a calling there is no stopping her inspiration. Just ask songwriter/ musician Norquay. Having taken four years away from music due to commitments as a commercial diver, the creative roar within Andrew has erupted, steering him into finding new explosive energy and expansive adventure for his alternative rock sound.

Drawing on inspirations which include the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Muse, Radiohead, and Oasis, Aberdeenshire hailing Andrew has breached new imagination and inventive tenacity in the songs bred since his return to the music scene. Lyrically, they explore and challenge personal and social issues within a landscape of growling riffs and fiery melodies. It makes for propositions which leave a lingering impact on thought and any appetite for evocatively rousing rock ‘n’ roll.

The first result of his new burst of inspiration was the ‘Vices EP which was released in November 2016. Consisting of five heart bred tracks as infectiously anthemic as they are emotionally open and boldly fertile, the EP is a galvanic realization of Andrew’s step forward in craft and invention from previous releases.

‘EP2’ was the follow up released in march 2018 which Shalalala Boom went on to receive great airtime, Spotify playlisting across the UK and is still growing now.

Now moving into 2020 Norquay has released his first double single with an EDM remix from London based ARQTIC.

‘In Time’ is a track of social chaos, conflict, corruption and the problems that we face today in society. With the huge string sections and melodic chorus it certainly gives the song the intensity and dramatic feel. That will surely pull you in.
