The Cazales formed in 2015 and are a vibrant Indie Pop 5 piece band based in Wrexham, North Wales. They’ve just released their ‘A Certain Quackery’ EP.

This is their second e.p. which was once again recorded by the talented Alan Smyth at 2fly studios in Sheffield who has a very proven track record working with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and many more.

The first single from the e.p. is She Wants You Dead which has been supported by hundreds of radio shows including Janice Long’s show on BBC Radio Wales.

On the single She Wants You Dead, the band said: “It’s a subtle tribute to Winona Ryder who our lead singer has been a fan of since he was a child. She Wants You Dead was written with inspirations from a few of Winona’s films but mainly from her hit 80s film ‘Heathers’. It originally began to come together during a band meeting in our guitarist’s house which turned into a jam and developed from there”.

They’re off to a great start this year, after headlining their first show for Scruff Of The Neck Promotions in Liverpool at EBGBS. Throw in some top gigs in Sheffield and Manchester and their first ever appearance at Focus Wales 2019 supporting Boy Azooga and you have a very busy band;-)

The new EP is the follow up to their debut EP ‘Real Emotion’ from back in 2016. It’s available now on all platforms including Spotify, Itunes, Google Play and Youtube.

What’s next? As well as working hard to make new material The Cazales have their first show coming up at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester on Friday, August 9th and a return to Sheffield’s West Street Live on Tuesday, October 1st.

Then with a couple of charity events in Llangollen and the North Wales area throughout the summer, they will be building to their next show with Scruff Of The Neck Promotions in Manchester at The Peer Hat on Saturday 2nd November.
