Pop newcomer Alex Aiono has revealed the colorful and energetic video for his new song, “No Drama.” Filmed in Miami, FL’s “Little Havana” and directed by local Michael Garcia (Dillon Francis, Hardwell, Kodak Black), the video follows Aiono on his journey through the streets of Miami as he reminds us (and ultimately his love interest) to return to basics of love, free of the petty stuff.

Along the way, he encounters a variety of different people that exemplify the rich cultural diversity of Calle Ocho and Little Havana. PAPER premiered the video earlier today, read Alex’s interview with them below.

By the time he was 19, Arizona raised singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Alex Aiono had already started amassing a following of millions creating his own “flipped” versions of popular songs from a one bedroom apartment he shared with his family of six. Revealing soulful vocals, effortless charisma, and flawless production skills, Aiono’s viral take on Drake’s “One Dance” exploded–receiving over 64 million views– but the clip only hints at the scope of the young artist’s talents.

Discovered after busking on the Santa Monica Promenade at age 15, Aiono quickly found himself in the studio with singer John Legend, who co-wrote the title track on his 2013 debut EP, Young & Foolish.

Committed to increasing his fans while sharing his own creative journey, Alex has been consistently releasing new songs since he first started recording, collaborating with everyone from Gryffn to T-Pain to DJ Felix Jaehn (with whom he had his first #1 with “Hot 2 Touch” in Germany), introducing fans to original music before embarking on his latest sold-out winter 2018 North American Feels Like Tour.
