Da Flyy Hooligan and Crimeapple drop their new collaboration in the form of the new video titled ‘Flyyapple’. That moment in a nuclear bomb when the atoms begin to split is the best way to describe Flyyapple on the fly. That calm moment when everything is yet calm but that nanosecond before all hell breaks loose. The music is the dissonant backdrop to the bombs spit out by this atomic collaboration with the wordplay being the chosen weapons of choice. Poetry as an arsenal.
Presenting the new hip-hop duo FLYYAPPLE and single produced by the legendary Oh No, bringing together two of the newest and most prolific rappers from either side of the pond.
London based Da Flyy Hooligan (Lamarrie Essquire) has a mysterious yet vibrant and charismatic character, who spits vivid wordplay with an underlying awareness of his aspirations and deep-rooted love for the culture of Hip-hop.
Lamarrie’s artist collaborations to date speak for themselves including Sean Price (RIP), Smiff n Wessun, Hus Kingpin, Planet Asia, DV Alias Khryst, Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine.
He has proven himself to be the driving force for a new breed of emcees, spawning from what would seem to be a fresh look for London’s Hip-hop scene.
Alongside this, his label Gourmetdeluxxx has received recognition from Red Bull and was recently featured on Bandcamp Daily for their consistent collaborations with artists across the Atlantic.
Crimeapple has also burst out of the scene and has been putting out consistent full-length projects including production from DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill), and DJ Skizz.
His Hispanic-Esq wordplay weaves between his roots of Hip-hop, love for food, and ever-flowing bars.
At Hip-hop Kemp festival in 2019, both artists were on the bill, they hung out backstage…and the rest was history!
FLYYAPPLE is here.
