Laurent Bourque has today released his new video titled ‘Easy’. Written like a polite ‘F*CK YOU’ to the pandemic, COVID’s got NO VID to compete with the feelgood antic, both visually and aurally, with Laurent’s way of dishing out that smile to each and every face that listens with what may be the laid back summer sun single this summer. Easy, indeed.

This past winter, I got obsessed with marrying my love of disco, 90’s hip hop and pop. I wanted to write a song that sounded like Dr. Dre. producing Justin Timberlake for the soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever. The result of that is “EASY.” I made “EASY” to counterbalance the sadness too… in order to heal and transcend the everyday hardship of this terrible pandemic we’ve all lived/are living through. It’s aspirational, communicating the hope I wanted to feel at a time when there was no relief in sight.
We have to concentrate on the good, simple moments.

On his new single EASY, Toronto’s Laurent Bourque embraces an uplifting pop sound, rooted in his love of raw punchy hip-hop beats, twinkling piano themes and unforgettable melodies. Network’s ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’ As an artistic collaborator, Laurent’s has recently had great success penning songs for many artists including Japanese artist Harumi (SONY Japan), whose most recent EP debuted at #1 on the iTunes R&B chart.
