Happy International Women’s Day!
I hope you will make the most of it and celebrate yourself if you identify as a woman (or even if you don’t, rest assured!) and other women around you and around the world!
I am also taking the opportunity to share with you my little contribution for the occasion: my new single, ‘A GOOD WOMAN’ is out now!
It is a song about the expectations, obligations and tribulations from what is considered to be a “good” woman, be it being monogamous, having a steady 9 to 5, or raising children. But what if you don’t meet any of these criteria?!…
With this song, I also wanted to show the vulnerabilities of a modern strong woman (at one point, addressing my late mother) through the music and my vocals at risk, if you want to call it that, of going power ballad-ey on you!
