After seven years, hundreds of shows, thousands of miles, more than their fair share of heartache and a whole heap of good times, pioneering North West UK pop punk band Me Vs Hero today announce their decision to call it a day. The announcement follows the long-awaited release of their second album I’m Completely Fine last year.
The band are set to play two final UK shows to bid farewell to fans; the first in London at Camden barfly 23rd April, and their final ever show in Manchester at Sound Control on 26th April. They will be playing songs from all three of their releases; 2009’s ‘This One’s For Our Friend’, 2010’s ‘Days That Shape Our Lives’ and their most recent 2014 release ‘I’m Completely Fine’.
Tickets for the farewell shows are on sale now and priced at £8 advance plus booking fee.
Over the course of a career that’s seen them struggle through the tragic loss of a founding member, a myriad of lineup changes, completely re-recording an entire album and battling with financial problems so extreme they led to bouts of homelessness, still nothing has managed to dampen the boundless optimism found in Me Vs Hero’s never-ending hoard of pop punk anthems.

We’d like to thank every single person who has helped and supported us over the years and hope to see all of our fans at the farewell shows.”
