1. Tour De Force Pet Name 4:33

Pet Name began in 2016 as the home-studio recording project of Adam Hanson. Based out of Norfolk, VA, the band’s influences range from 80’s/90’s melodic hardcore (e.g. Lifetime, The Descendants, Split Lip) to 90’s indie rock (e.g. Pavement, Built To Spill), with a generous pinch of Gin Blossoms and Counting Crows. Against a backdrop of simple, guitar-driven indie rock melodies, Pet Name’s catchy, hook-laden vocals are half clever, half pensive, half silly, and half lamenting. They’ve supported national artists including David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Jounce (Danny Tamberelli), and others.

“Tour De Force ” is the lead single from the bands forthcoming album due out later this spring on Custom Made Music. Until then keep a lookout for them at your next high school career day or corporate retreat.
