Shape of Water is an electronic alternative rock band formed in 2018 from Manchester, United Kingdom in the grand tradition of projects like Queen, Muse, Coldplay, The Killers, and Radiohead. Amor Fati is as diverse as it is sonically pleasing.
Instead of guitar power chords used for punch and dynamics, Shape of Water employs tactical low-toned synths in a fashion similar to John Carpenter utilizing what he called “stingers,” lending impact and potency to the given Michael Meyers sighting. Through the music, the band knows no boundaries and now… neither do their listeners.
