A lot can happen in three years, time doesn’t stand still for anyone. Like a good whiskey aging in caskets over the years, making it better and better. That’s the case for “White Crow” this new musical chapter of La-Ventura after their worldwide release of their debut album “A New Beginning”!
Recorded in a professional studio in France, the way it should be, under the watchful eye of producer Didier Chesneau, the band gave it their best. Mastering yet again done in France, by one of the bigger names in the bizz: Bruno Gruel.
These factors make the new sound of the band which is huge, broad, massive and with conviction!
After releases in The Benelux and The UK, now it is time for Germany, Austria and Switzerland to get to know La-Ventura! With Valkyrie Rising at the helm, “White Crow”, will available from February 2014 and onwards. Valkyrie Rising will issue a special edition of “White Crow” for fans to enjoy.
This special edition of White Crow consists of ten songs plus two extra bonus tracks! The songs demonstrates evolution and passion from the band, as it never has done before. Never losing what made La-Ventura in the first place,
White Crow gives you: Metal fused with melody, rock fused with groovy riffs; it is all there for you to enjoy!
Members changed, music matured and blood was shed to complete this new album, but nevertheless the fans will still get the best of La-Ventura!

About La-Ventura:
La-Ventura is a Dutch female fronted melodic Metal/ Rock band founded in early 2007. With just one single out called “Trefoil”, it caught the eye of labels around the world, battling it out for an exclusive deal.
Eventually the band released their first full length album called “A New Beginning” in 2008 through USA based label Renaissance Records.
Though released in a period where Gothic was THE hottest thing for female fronted bands, it was clear La-Ventura made their own mark.
Press, critics and fans agreed on one thing: La-Ventura had its own sound: a great blend of melody mixed with Metal, topped with groove and powerful Rock vocals. It made the album accessible for a wider range of listeners instead of just one group. All these elements combined was and still is La-Ventura.
With an EP released with three new tracks in 2010, it was a bridge between the first and the upcoming second album. La-Ventura wanted that the new music confirmed the fact that the band was matured.
The new mindset forced the band to rethink what made La-Ventura and how they could improve themselves.
With an offer the band could not refuse, they forged an alliance with French top metal producer Didier Chesneau, to record the second full length the old-skool way.
Recording in a top studio blending analogue with digital, the sound of the band improved immensely.
The tracks gained in power and conviction, never losing the real live sound and feel. The whole experience brought out the best of La-Ventura.
La-Ventura’s second album is now a fact; “White Crow” has seen the light of days in 2013 with an independent release for The Benelux.
Even after three years of production, the album sounds fresh and huge!
