1. Vultures Vini Vicious 3:33

While these days a duo is the modern representation of classic 4-piece rock bands, Vini Vicious justify their line up through their music. With a vacuum sealed, super- tight rhythm section, and 2 guitarists switch-hitting lead and rhythm parts, the band has refined its sound and dubbed it “Tragic Pop”.

“Vultures” was one of the last songs written during the sessions for Vini’s upcoming EP ‘Atelophobia’.
For a band that usually plays around with its creative process, this song actually hit closer to their beloved formula: Gil composed the verses and Jonny composed the chorus, then the entire band honed it together. Flashes of a trippy, theme park mood sparked in our minds while hearing the first version of the song, so Jonny took the lyrics to a kinky, LSD infused direction, while keeping his beloved witty word games in.

After performing and recording as a trio for two years, in 2020 guitarist Gil Mezamer joined the band, a shift that spiraled the band into a very fruitful period, writing a new album which was recently recorded in Tel Aviv, due to come out in March 2022. After receiving great feedback and airplay on FM radio in the US, Australia and England with the last three singles they have released, Vini Vicious are experiencing their most prolific year ever, with ‘Vultures’ being the second single, all off of their new album “Atelophobia”.
