Songwriters Gary Markert and Steve Walker starting playing music together in 2012. Spending most of their time jamming outside at a local park, they ended up getting a lot of positive feedback from passers-by. After some time, they decided to start a band and take their collaboration to a new level. Having several projects together, Aid the Beast became their main focus and soon enough, they had enough songs written to record a full album.
The self-titled record is a testament to where they are at with their sound right now.
