The first reason is when you’re a famous band, things are clear and defined. “Everyone” is waiting for your new album. When you’re an unknown band, things are getting more complicated and to release an album can be very frustrating. Even if you write songs for yourself, in the end, you need people to listen to them. “One song every two weeks” is a good frequency for you to get into the songs and maybe then to appreciate them.
