Formed in Washington D.C. in 2015, Names refuses to apologize for its inspiration from classic bands like Pink Floyd but modernizes the vintage sound with their own brand of beat-driven rock and roll.

In April 2018, Names released its debut album, “Pink House,” recorded at Montserrat House and mixed by Gianmaria Conti. The album is appropriately introduced with samplings from Roger Waters discussing digital music, beginning a dark psychedelic journey reminiscent of the great rock albums of the 60s and 70s. It’s single, “Nails,” is described by Jim Thomson of (Electric Cowbell Records) as “totally evil and psych.”.
