1. Cloud Pull String Prophet 3:33

Officially emerging in 2015, Pull String Prophet has been in the works for nearly a decade. The Elizabethtown, PA-based hard rock band began as a writing outlet for Don Shiner, former lead guitar player for Pennsylvania original bands Axum and Odd Thomas. Using the knowledge gained from writing and performing for Axum’s 2003 full-length release, Like So Much Therapy, and also performing all the recording and mixing duties for Odd Thomas’s 2009 6-track EP, See How They Run, Shiner spent his time on the side writing and refining the tracks for the debut album The Company We Keep. Containing 14 tracks in total, comprised of heart-felt thoughts and experiences, The Company We Keep became a true autobiography of Shiner’s life. As a deeply personal journey, the album was not only written and performed entirely by Shiner, but also recorded and mixed in his home studio. Released on July 7, 2015, the album spans between genres, offering something for every listener.

On March 11, 2016, a cover of the U2 classic “Until the End of the World” was released. While staying true to the original, the Pull String Prophet version adds a harder edge, signature to the songs from The Company We Keep.

In mid-2016 work began on a follow-up to the 2015 debut. Finally released on November 27, 2020, Vultures proved to be a huge leap forward. Featuring six brand-new songs, an immensely different version of the song “One Night” – previously released on The Company We Keep, and two acoustic tracks, Vultures showed the true potential of Pull String Prophet.
