In 2013 Roof Down took its first breath as a band. Through blood, sweat, and tears the members started out working its existing material by seeking out the golden nuggets, getting tight and the sound picture right, for thereafter hunt down every gig opportunity possible.
Characteristic lead singer Johan (Stonesilk) Sjöberg, lead this postgrunge-squad containing Mats Stille on lead guitar with large open chords, Thobbe Hermansen on energetic bass, and Staffan Westelius punishing his drums with a fierce grin on his face.
RD create a unique alternative rock act and is often compared with grunge bands of the 90’s. Their muhashave roots in grunge rock but at the same time rocket it away to a modern semi-commercial hit!
