Springfield are a five piece alternative rock band hailing from the rainy Lake District, Cumbria. Forming in 2016, the band begun playing covers in the local pubs. Soon enough they found themselves writing together. Musically Inspired by artists such as Tame Impala, New Order and Bloc Party, Springfield blend melodic guitar/synth hooks with direct aggressive drum beats.
2019 saw the band release two singles ‘Footstep’ and ‘105’. The tracks have accumulated over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone. February 2020 saw the band release ‘Liquorice’, although a strong track and a fan favorite, the world ground to a halt due to more important matters. The band got back to it in 2021 rounding the year off Supporting Red Rum Club at the world famous Cavern Club, Liverpool.
The band are gearing up for a busy 2022 with multiple releases and festival appearances.
