Tour De France is the only known US citizen song-writing team specifically writing modern rock music with exclusively French lyrics. Tour de France is based in Los Angeles. The team consists of Lyricist Bernadette Colomine and Producer Sam. Bernadette is from Bordeaux and Sam from New York, they met in Los Angeles opening for Johnette Napolitano and began collaborating from there. They have performed alongside and toured with acts like Johnette Napolitano, Rufus and Martha Wainwright.
Bernadette has collaborated with artists David J and many others. She works as Leonard Cohen’s french language consultant.
Their music has been played internationally by lovers of the French language and alternative rock alike. They have completed two albums and are currently getting writing and recording material for their third collection of songs to be released in 2016.
