Dirty Sole is excited to announce their sophomore album FWD Motion will be available on Friday, December 9, 2016 via Dirty Sole Music. To highlight the announcement, Dirty Sole premiered their music video for “Take You There” on LessThan3 on Monday, September 12, 2016. “Take You There” is the first offering from FWD Motion and quickly follows the release of Dirty Sole’s “Owning It” Remix Package featuring remixes by The Juan MacLean of DFA Records.

“Take You There” is the first glimpse of what to expect off Dirty Sole’s upcoming album, FWD Motion. The track utilizes analog riffs, electronic bass, and a phased out vocal to create a futuristic, Timbaland inspired sound. Directed by Diane Sagnier of QUAD Productions, the music video sees a group of friends take a psychedelic road trip through the desert. It leaves you wondering what the hell just hit you.

Dirty Sole is an indie electronic group consisting of Daniel Anderegg and Richie Heller. The moniker was created by Heller who wanted to make electronic music that sounded dirty, but soulful. The group is based out of Chicago, where they originally met in 2001. Dirty Sole released their debut album Skattered Jazz on UK label Classic Music and followed with a string of singles that saw their unique blend of house, funk, and techno.

FWD Motion marks a rebranding and fresh indie electronic sound for Dirty Sole, who were previously known for their underground dance releases. The concept was to take dance music and move forward, symbolizing the duo’s natural musical progression. The album effortlessly melds elements of electronic, synth pop, house, dance, funk, and hip hop and includes collaborations with Jon Von Letsch, Lyrics Born, Foremost Poets, Hanssen, and James Curd.
