David Baron & Fiona Glenn have collaborated once again in the form of their new single titled ‘Plans’. The stylings of the music fit the lyrics perfectly as the song is about love lost. The what could have beens that we all wonder about long after that love is gone and moved on. That feeling and more is perfectly captured in ‘Plans’ as the song collides with the heart and those things unspoken to give that darkness a little bit of light.
The single ‘Plans’ drops on November 29th via Here & Now Recordings.
Written, composed, recorded and produced by David Baron the song is about lost love. Not things that happened – but things that almost happened. Cindy Mizelle features on backing vocals. Cindy has recorded and performed with Bruce Springsteen for many years. Also, Steely Dan, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Louie Vega’s Elements of Life group. Woodstock artist David Baron has worked on many a hit record.
As producer, mixer, orchestrator, arranger, keyboard engineer and performer he has graced the recordings of Lenny Kravitz, The Lumineers, Bat For Lashes, Meghan Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Phoebe Bridgers, Josin, Melanie De Biasio, Conor Oberst, Peter Murphy (from Bauhaus) and more. Aside from his production work and solo recording for UK label Here & Now, David is the lead composer and soundtrack producer for Gregory Colbert’s follow up to Ashes & Snow.
