Jess Thristan is set to release her new single titled “No Romeo” on September 23rd. The song is a “must hear” in my humble opinion and can even be considered a lesson in melodic songwriting. As the song chants itself into the start, you can already tell that Jess and songwriter Jonny Wright do everything with a gameplan, and that plan is constructing well thought and seamlessly executed pop-sensibility for the masses while keeping the integrity and respect of anyone in the music scene who can stand up and listen as well as appreciate “No Romeo” for what it is; a modern classic.
Check out Jess Thristan on her upcoming “539 Tour”, with dates below. “No Romeo” drops September 23rd.

About Jess Thristan
The impressively busy and talented Jess Thristan continues on her path to becoming one of the UK’s most vaunted artists by announcing the release of the single “No Romeo” on the 23rd September, while simultaneously taking on her first UK tour.
Co-written, produced and performed by Jonny Wright (Foxes, Aurora, Matt Wills) “No Romeo” is a wonderfully catchy amalgam of classy pop and intelligent songwriting
In 2014 at the age of 18 Jess began creating her debut album, working with the likes of Steve Crisanthou (Corinne Bailey-Rae, Eliza Dolittle and Jonny Wright (Foxes, Becky Hill). She released her debut single “Little Bird” in October 2014 on ‘Better Than Cake Records’ gaining fantastic support from Clare Balding at BBC Radio 2. Clare invited Jess to perform a live session on her Sunday morning radio show in October 2014. Also Fantastic regional BBC support and especially from her home station BBC Radio Leeds (Johnny I’anson, Larry & Paul Show, Liz Green and Richard Stead)
The album is virtually completed and culminated in the recording of three titles with a 22 piece Orchestra at the famous Angel Recording Studios London! This included her cover ‘From Me To You’ by The Beatles. Also the stunning song ‘The Shield’ written by Jess at the tender age of 15.
The end of 2015 saw the release of her new single ‘From Me To You’ which is a beautiful and completely new arrangement of the Beatles classic and was chosen as the song for the official Sky TV Germany Christmas advertisement campaign.
This newest offering from Jess is taken from her forthcoming album and along with her “539 Tour” looks set to keep this impressive young artist’s career on an upward trajectory. For details of the “539 Tour” dates and ticket information check out Jess’ website.
